Three years ago we introduced an olive bar here at The Courtyard Shop. It has been a great success! Based on this we then decided to introduce a range of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Subsequently we have added a limited but very popular range of Scottish rapeseed oils. These we display and decant from 5 litre amperes into smaller 200ml and 500ml bottles. The idea being you buy the bottle once and bring it back when empty to have it refilled.

Extracted from oilseed rape it can be seen growing in the Scottish countryside in the spring time. The oil is great in salsas and pestos as the subtle taste allows the flavour of the herbs and spices to come through.
